COVID-19 vaccinations

Please DO NOT call or email the Practice asking when your COVID Vaccination (either first or second dose) is going to be.

We are currently working through Cohorts 5 & 6 and catching up with the very last of previous cohorts.

There have been very thorough assessments made of those deemed to be 'clinically extremely vulnerable' and 'higher risk of serious disease and mortality' so there is no need to clarify this with the practice.

We have processes to ensure no one is missed and you will be contacted shortly if you have not yet had your first dose.

Do not contact the surgery to ask about your vaccination unless it is to provide an up to date mobile number via with the title "mobile number".

Here is the Government Website link which is useful with regards to the vaccination programme and definitions.

Repeat Prescriptionsblue_yellow_pills

Mullion Health Centre patients may order repeat prescriptions from Mullion surgery between 08:45 and 11:45 each morning Monday to Friday. Any requests received after this time will be carried over to the next working day. At Mullion, there is one receptionist and one GP designated each day to process repeat prescriptions, and it is for this reason we ask you only to order repeat medication between these times.

If you are receiving regular medication, attached to your prescription you will find a white slip which lists your current repeat medication. Please note the numbers next to the medication - for example, if it states 1/6 then you have received 1 supply out of 6 lots authorised. If any medication shows for example, 6/6, then you have no further supplies of this medication and the doctor may need to re-authorise more. You may possibly be asked to come in and be seen before any further medication can be issued.

It is very important to ensure the medication you are requesting is still authorised - if it is not and you have 'used up' the prescribed amount of medication, there will be a delay before we can complete the request. In some extreme cases repeat medication may be refused until you have seen your doctor. The doctor will decide this, we always try and contact you in this case. Request your repeat prescriptions in plenty of time.

Tick clearly the item/s required and either send the request to us by post, bring it in to the surgery and post it through the prescription box in the surgery hallway. The box is cleared at 11:30 each morning so anything posted after this time will be carried over to the next working day. If you prefer, you may re-order your medication via this web-site by following the link at the top of this page.

If you are sending the paper slip please make sure you mark clearly the name of the pharmacy you will be collecting your medication from. We offer Mullion patients the facility to collect their medication from 3 pharmacies in Helston - Boots, Tesco and Hall's Pharmacy as well as to Boots in Mullion. Any prescription request not clearly marked with the collection pharmacy name will be allocated to the pharmacy in Mullion Village.

Pharmacy prescription collection timings

When you order your prescription and opt to collect the medication from a pharmacy, there will be a 3 working day wait before it will be ready.  This is to allow the pharmacy time to process your order.  Please see below for the collection timings.

Collect PM

NB:  Saturday is not a working day

Constantine, Lizard and Ruan Minor patients order and collect their medication from the dispensary located at each site. Please see your dispenser/receptionist for further information.

You may also order repeat requests online using the link above,  these can be ordered at any time but again will only be processed between the times of 08:45 and 11:45.  This new system requires an initial face to face registration at your surgery to gain access, please bring along with you a form of identification (your repeat prescription slip will do). You will be handed a printout with your username and password required to login.  NB. We can only register you in person, for data protection reasons we can't give this information to anyone else.

How to order your repeat medication online:

Access the SystmOnline service as above and click on the ‘MEDICATION’ option.  You then need to click ‘MEDICATION’ again.

On this page there is a list of the repeat medication you are currently prescribed.  Please tick the medication you require. If all of your required medication is available for ticking, then click onto ‘Continue’ to be taken to the next page.  On this page you can type any message regarding your medication order including the name of the pharmacy that you would like to collect your medication from.  The options are:

Mullion Boots, Helston Boots, Helston Tesco Pharmacy, Halls Pharmacy, Mullion Health Centre, Constantine Surgery, Ruan Minor Surgery, The Lizard Surgery

If the none of the medication you require is available for ticking, then please click onto the ‘MAKE CUSTOM REQUEST’ and type a message to the receptionist there.

Do NOT order medication AND try and type into this box as you will lose your ticked medication.
