We’ve packed it full of useful information in a very easy to use format with the added benefit of several online functions. Join a COVID-19 clinical trial
The PRINCIPLE trial aims to find treatments that reduce hospital admission and improve symptoms for people with COVID-19. You could be eligible to join if
- You have had these symptoms for fewer than 15 days:
- a continuous new or worsening cough
- and/or a high temperature
- OR have a positive test for SARS-Co-V2 infection with COVID-19 symptoms in the past 14 days
- You are aged 50 to 64 with a pre-existing illness
- You are aged 65 and above
- This doesn’t replace your usual care so you should still contact 111 or the GP surgery if you are worried about your symptoms.

OFFICIAL GOVERNMENT GUIDANCE - CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19)
IF YOU DEVELOP A HIGH TEMPERATURE OR NEW CONTINUOUS COUGH YOU MIGHT HAVE CORONAVIRUS.
PLEASE DO NOT BOOK AN APPOINTMENT.
PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND ANY SURGERY.
PLEASE STAY AT HOME FOR 7 DAYS.
If you CANNOT COPE with your symptoms at home or,
If your condition GETS WORSE or,
If your symptoms DO NOT GET BETTER after 7 days
Then USE THE 111 CORONAVIRUS SERVICE or RING 111 if you cannot get help online.
Do not attend the surgery unless you are requested to do so by the Health Centre staff - this is to protect yourself and others.
As of Monday 16th March 2020, as a Group Practice, we have taken the difficult decision to take the following actions in an attempt to reduce the risk to both patients and staff attending our surgeries:
Total telephone triage of all appointments with GPs, Nurses and Health Care Assistants:
Cancelling all routine appointments which have been deemed safe and appropriate by our GPs - if you have an appointment already booked you may be contacted to change this to a telephone appointment, or cancel the appointment to be rearranged at a later date. If you are not contacted, please assume that your appointment in the surgery will be going ahead as previously planned;
Asking patients to attend appointments in person, when a GP feels appropriate, at a specific time. Please follow instructions given by the GP, attend alone if possible, and spend as little time as possible within the building;
When requesting medication, please allow plenty of time (there is no need to "stock-pile" medications) and allow us to use the Electronic Prescription System to avoid the need for you to attend the surgery in person.
We will aim to respond to all urgent issues as quickly as possible, but please have patience with our staff at this difficult time.
If at all possible, please seek advice from NHS 111 online services before calling the surgery for advice so we can improve access to patients with urgent clinical needs.
Best wishes, The Partners

The Practice is very pleased with the ratings which reflect the service provided by all staff to our patients :-
