You may telephone for the results of  tests carried out in surgery - please try to telephone in the morning as the afternoons can be a busier time  to deal with your telephone call effectively.  Check with the receptionist whether the result has been received back into the surgery, if so, she may suggest adding your name and contact number to the Doctors telephone list for him/her to telephone you, usually at lunchtime, or if this is not convenient, at a time better suited for you both.  

It is important to remember the receptionists are not allowed to give you any test result information, only the Doctors, and in certain cases the Nurses, can do this.

Please do not ask for information about results for anyone other than yourself, equally important, please do not ask anyone else to telephone or ask for your results.  Each and every patient has the right to complete confidentiality and this is paramount to everyone who works in the surgeries. Please do not expect us to break that confidence on your, or anyone elses behalf.
